Moving your numbers to cloud telephony, without the downtime

The fear with a phone system move is always the same: the day the number goes dark and the business goes quiet with it. It is avoidable, and the trick is sequencing rather than luck.

Build the new system first

Extensions, menus, hunt groups and voicemail all get built and tested on the cloud PBX while your existing line carries on as normal. Nothing is ported until the new system answers correctly on a test number.

Port second, cut over last

The port itself is a scheduled hand-over between carriers. Once it lands, calls follow the number to the new system — and because the system was already built and tested, the switch is a routing change rather than a rebuild.

Keep a fallback for a week

We leave a failover route in place after the cutover. If anything behaves unexpectedly, calls divert to a mobile while it is sorted out, instead of ringing into nothing.
